Information Communication and Technology

All children will have access to computers to capitalise on high value of computer as a motivational aide across the curriculum. Programs will be available for word processing and publishing as well as stimulation and adventure programs for use in supporting or developing integrated curriculum activities in the classroom. Multimedia programs have been introduced to extend and challenge children’s abilities. Children use computers as a means of retrieving information, particularly in the Library, from CD Rom and Internet.

Mathematics and ICT
Information and Communications Technology focuses on providing students with the tools to transform their learning and to enrich their learning environment. These knowledge and skills enable students to:

  • Develop new thinking and learning skills that produce creative and innovative insights.
  • Develop more productive ways of working and solving problems individually and collarboratively.
  • Express themselves in contemporary and socially relevant ways.
  • Communicate locally and globally to solve problems and to share knowledge.
